Mobil Nyvac^TM FR 200D is an excellent performance water-glycol type fire resistant hydraulic fluid. Its formula uses diethylene glycol as the main diol component, and the product does not contain ethylene glycol. The fire protection properties of this product are derived from its water content, even if the hydraulic oil is sprayed from a diesel nozzle at pressures in excess of 200 bar / 3000 psi onto a natural gas flame, it will not catch fire; it will not catch fire if dripped onto molten metal combustion. This product is compatible with packings, gaskets, hoses and accumulators made of materials commonly found in hydraulic systems, with the exception of parts made of polyurethane, leather or cork materials.
