Mobil SHC^TM 600 Series oils are high performance gear and bearing lubricants that provide outstanding performance in equipment protection, extended oil life and smooth operation, thereby increasing productivity. Mobil SHC's patented technology formula provides excellent performance under high and low temperature conditions, and its low-viscosity grades have excellent outgassing properties. This series is shear resistant and maintains a high degree of viscosity stability even in extremely heavily loaded gear and high shear bearing applications.

Mobil SHC 600 series products have lower traction coefficients relative to mineral oils, mainly due to the molecular structure of the base oil used. Therefore, the fluid friction is low on regular surfaces in load zones, such as gears and rolling contact bearings. The lower the fluid friction, the lower the operating temperature, which improves the efficiency of the gear and reduces the power loss. According to laboratory test results, replacing Mobil SHC 600 series products can improve energy efficiency by about 3.6%*, prolong part life, and make equipment design more economical. Mobil SHC 600 is formulated to provide excellent high temperature oxidation resistance and sludge formation inhibition. It also has excellent rust resistance, anti-wear, anti-emulsification, foam control and outgassing, and is compatible with a variety of metals. Mobil SHC 600 Series oils are compatible with seals and other materials typically used in mineral oil equipment.

Mobil SHC 600 series meet the specifications of AGMA 9005 E02, according to different viscosity, respectively meet the specifications of DIN 51517-3 CLP;
