HOUGHTO-QUENCH K is an ultra-high-speed quenching oil suitable for use at temperatures up to 80°C. Refined mineral oil is specially selected to minimize oxidation and ensure very stable performance under the most severe operating conditions. HOUGHTO-QUENCH K is added with carefully formulated additives to reduce the vapor film stage and provide a higher maximum cooling rate and a higher quenching rate in the convection stage. Due to the use of advanced additives, HOUGHTO-QUENCH K is a dark-colored quenching oil, which is especially suitable for the accelerated quenching properties to produce the highest strength and minimum deformation of alloy steel, and does not reduce performance and reduce pollution due to long-term quenching.
